user 6306294 Alexandria, VA Post #: 11	Hey all, For those planning on going to Shore Leave this summer the Mid-Atlantic Browncoats had this announcement posted on their forum: There some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that Adam Baldwin went and got a job, which means he won't be able to make it to Shore Leave this year after all. The web site doesn't have details, but presumably this is something on the big screen. The good news is that another Firefly guest is taking his place: Jewel Staite. So while I'm sure everyone's disappointed that Adam won't be there, we do get to look forward to seeing Jewel. *** If true, I'm getting the impression that Adam would just rather work than go to all these crazy cons... ;-) On the bright side: Jewel will be there! I'm certain that a Photo Op can be transferred to another guest star with minimal difficulty, as long as Registration is informed. I am not completely certain about the refund policy as far as photo op's go, however. To be safe, I am forwarding this E-mail to Ms. Melissa James, one of our convention chairpersons, who also doubles as head of the pre-registration department. She should be able to get in touch with you as to exactly what procedures to take to make the transition as smoothly as possible. Kindest Regards, --Mike Schilling Publicity Dept.
