Browncoats are fans of Joss Whedon's 'Firefly' universe. We get together to have fun, to hang out, to chat and to discuss all manner of things about Firefly, Serenity, Joss Whedon and all the actors from the show, and so much more! Serenity Charity Screening for Equality Now
BC Browncoats attended the 2nd Annual SERENITY NOW/EQUALITY NOW Charity SCREENING on Saturday, June 23rd. It was a packed house, due in part to the appearance of our own favourite BDH Jewel Staite, aka Kaylee. Jewel not only introduced the movie and pulled the names for the prizes, but she kindly stayed afterwards to schmooze, sign autographs and have her picture taken with us. And, we raised $2,600 US for Joss's favourite charity, "Equality Now", which is more than twice as much as the previous year. Good job, Gayle!! Browncoats ROCK!
